James started his career in digital marketing and innovation over 20 years ago working for a travel tech start-up in Sydney. His involvement in the immersive tech sector dates back to the launch of the first Oculus headset in 2014, when he worked with Shell to roll-out a global VR Health & Safety training programme. He went on to join Immerse as their Chief Marketing Officer where he helped their enterprise VR platform become the market leader, working with clients such as Facebook, DHL and Nestle.

 

He has now founded XRTech Marketing, a consultancy dually focused on helping end-user companies to identify the right immersive technology solutions alongside enabling suppliers to ensure their product positioning fits with the needs of the market.
